A lively concert celebrating the origins of jazz and the contribution of Italian and Italian-American musicians to American music.

Inspired by the legacy of Sicilian-American cornetist Nick La Rocca and the Original Dixieland Jass Band, the Some Like It Hot Jazz Band recreates the spirit of early jazz through music and storytelling.

Featuring: Luca Velotti, Rossano Sportiello, Jon-Erik Kellso, Harvey Tibbs, Neal Miner, Kevin Dorn, Imani Rousselle, and James Cirillo.

The concert Nick La Rocca & His Brothers is the third of five musical initiatives promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute of New York in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s United in Sound: America at 250 festival.
